Predivinsk village
The village of Predivinsk is a real leader in the timber industry and shipbuilding. In the post-war years, the Predivinsky timber industry enterprise became one of the best in the region, the enterprise was the experimental base of the SibNIILP Institute.
Kazachinsky threshold
The most dangerous and difficult to pass, but also the most colorful section on the Yenisei, the Siberian writer V. Ya. Shishkova, who led a group of researchers studying the rapids on the Yenisei, described the Kazachinsky rapids as follows: “A powerful river, its roar on the rapids, the fishing village of Podporozhnaya, an unprecedented thunderstorm with a dazzling lightning that struck upon my return from the village of Kazachinsky.”
Village Kazachinskoye
This ancient village was founded as a fort, Cossack Lug, in 1636 on the route from Yeniseisk to Krasnoyarsk. During the Civil War, the Kazachinskaya volost became the site of fierce battles between partisans and Kolchak’s troops.
Confluence of the Yenisei and Angara rivers
The confluence of the Angara and Yenisei rivers is located in the Kasnoyarsk region near the village of Strelka.
Lesosibirsk
The city was founded in 1949 and is one of the youngest cities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The city is one of the largest producers of lumber in Russia.
Yeniseisk
Founded in 1619 and is one of the oldest cities in Siberia. In the past, it was an important trading point on the way from Siberia to Europe. Yeniseisk is also known for its historical sights. The city has preserved buildings built in the 17th-19th centuries, including churches and monasteries.
Village Yartsevo
Founded in 1640 and is one of the oldest settlements in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Today Yartsevo is a small village with a population of about 1000 people. In the vicinity of the village you can see beautiful landscapes, rivers and lakes. Fishing and hunting can also be done here.
Confluence of the Yenisei and Bakhta rivers
At this point, the Yenisei becomes even wider and more powerful, and its flow becomes slower. The confluence of these two rivers is an important geographical feature and is of great importance to the local population and the economy of the region.
Igarka
Igarka is the first Soviet city built on permafrost. The city has the world's only Permafrost Museum, created on the basis of a division of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Dudinka
The northernmost international seaport in Russia and the largest in Siberia. Dudinka is a place where you can get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the indigenous peoples of Siberia, such as the Nenets, Dolgans and Nganasans.
